Positive: The Bakehouse is in the most beautiful location. Lots of room to park, surrounded by miles of peaceful moorland. There's a small pretty garden outside and a shady terrace for eating outdoors. The house has everything you'd want for a holiday, the bed was very comfortable and the quiet location is exceptional. Nothing to hear but the cuckoo calling.
Summary: The quietest place we have ever stayed, just the sound of birdsong and bees buzing in the garden.

Positive: Amazing location, with walks from the door. Cosy cottage with everything you need. Lovely welcome from the hosts, including a cream tea. I love the drying room, which is important when on Dartmoor, and cosy bedrooms with lovely bed linen.

Positive: The location is simply stunning, isolated but accessible and there are great walks from the door. The bedrooms are really well designed. The shower and drying room are great. The hosts are friendly and helpful. The artworks around the cottage are beautiful.
Negative: The double bed mattress is rather uncomfortable, dipping in the middle.
